Food Drive

Be sure to bring a can of food each day to the festival for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC.  Every year we collect thousands of pounds of non-perishable food from attendees and donate it to the NC Food Bank. Last year we collected food and cash worth 4,100 meals, equivalent to almost two and half tons of food.   Lets do even better this year!  Most needed items:

Infant Products
Diapers, Wipes, Formula, Infant Cereal
Please - No loose glass or plastic jars of  baby food as they will have to be discarded due to health regulations.

Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, etc.

Established in 1980, the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is a non-profit organization that provides food to people at risk of hunger in 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina. In 2006-07, the Food Bank distributed over 32.6 million pounds of food through 870 partner agencies including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and after school programs for children


Be sure to bring a can of food to the festival this year for the for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. Every year we collect hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food from attendees and donate it to the NC Food Bank. Last year we collected more than 1,200 pounds of food and supplemented it with a $115 cash donation to help them deliver it to those who need it.   Lets do even better this year!  Acceptable donations include: (Please, no glass.)
